About Adam

I’m a big picture thinker. My life goal is to help humanity reach its full potential, and I’m passionate about design because I believe it’s the key to making that happen.
The most important question in my world? If our potential is defined by our imagination, what do we have the courage to imagine? Beyond the laws of physics, I’m familiar with no greater constraint on our future.
I started Designable.blog in January 2023 to publish my ideas and lay the foundations for a community with a common understanding of what design is all about.
I grew up in downtown Toronto, and I’m currently studying architecture at the University of Waterloo. Rather than blog about buildings, I’m here to share generalized design lessons I’ve uncovered while engaging with the world.
I’d like to acknowledge that many of the ideas I share on this blog are borrowed or adapted from others I respect. I’ll do my best to give credit where credit is due, but it’s often difficult to remember where I first encountered certain concepts and ways of thinking.
About Designable.blog
This is a blog about what design means, and what it means to design.
I publish for people who believe that the world works better when we make better work.
Most design blogs are built around pictures and headlines, but this one is different. It’s a collection of ideas — ideas written to help you rethink what you do, whether you’re a self-described designer or not.
If you value designable.blog, please share it with others in your community.
